( It's not Michael Jackson and this is not Thriller )
I think I'll try some different colours next. I'm getting way too fond of brown and asparagus green. Recommend me some new colour schemes? I know there are sites like colourlovers.com, but I'd like to hear your own ideas.
I'm also thinking about doing a collage or two. I've had this one idea for a week or so. But I'm a bit scared how they'll turn out!

You seemed like the group to ask.
When people write about their Moleskins. Is there a specific one each of you speaks of? I wondered do you need to buy a Moleskin designed for specific tasks? Like say drawing? Watercolor? Acrylics?
I know that Moleskin has a design for people who write their own music on staffs and such. Is there a break down for various artistic mediums? For various types of writing instruments? Like fountain pens, rollerball, gel ink and the like?

hello lovely ppl :) after half a year without a sketchbook, i finally got my hands on one last month. i've wanted to make a post for a while, but really i don't know what feels okay with me to show and what not, so.. well.. here are 4 or 5 scans only.. I've "discovered" the magic of tags in this comm, i guess the mods did the tags months ago, what a lot of work! and i didn't even notice! it's so easy to find ppl's posts now. so if you click on my tag you'll get my previous 8 posts

hello vandals and evangels
i first introduced the Swimmerman in this entry and am really interested in whatever mythology i attached to it, so much so that i have been automatically drawing him, or more importantly, his hands.
here are some renderings of Swimmerman, and some other spreads for the wednesday of it enjoy! **** the blue ink ones are really rough as i keep that notebook by my bed and usually doodle / write laying down before i go to sleep****

I just tried on my "skinny jeans" for the first time in weeks, and they fit. they actually zip up and button. a little snug, yes, but they fit. funny, I wasn't even trying to lose this weight.

i wish that i posted full journals, but alas, i don't have any journals that are completely finished, so instead i'm going to continue posting in spurts with just some of my work. i haven't posted since the beginning of this summer (i posted with a mix cd booklet and the bible, which i have sadly not worked on since), but i'm going to try to do art more regularly and post whenever i've got something that's worth posting. ( a few large pictures )
hopefully next time i'll actually have some of that bible done.

I just started using Flickr, these photos are annoyingly small but whatever.
( We can never sell out because we never bought in. )
This is the first time I haven't written much in a journal. I usually write at least some lyrics or a quote in the middle of a page, but now I just wanted to let the drawings speak for themselves. I've also avoided listening to music with lyrics because I don't want to illustrate the songs - instead, I've listened to jazz while painting.
I have to admit I haven't painted much before. I've used paint on the background of my pages and I've used it to colour in some details, but now I've created whole pages using paints. And mom bought me oil pastels, the last time I used them I was like 10... I kinda love them, though.
I'll probably change my journaling style after a while again, but it's nice to try new things and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the results. It's kinda hard to even try to write anything in my journal, because I feel like I don't need to use words anymore.
But yeah thanks for looking, I'll stop rambling now... ♥
Also, my livejournal is in Finnish so please don't add me unless you're Finnish too.
